5. Questions and Answers with "did"

 


"Did" questions are questions asked in the past tense, using the auxiliary verb "did" followed by the subject and the base form of the verb, and typically answered with a simple "yes, I did" or "no, I didn't" depending on whether the action happened in the past or not


Did Chris dance at the party last night?
- Yes, he did

Did you see Julie on the weekend?
- No, I didn't.

Make questions and answers with the following sentences.

  4. The police came for him.
