A biography or autobiography is a written account of a person’s own life, told by that person.
It usually includes important details such as:
Personal background (birth, family, early life).
-
Education and experiences (school, friends, challenges).
-
Work and achievements (career, successes, lessons learned).
-
Personal reflections (values, beliefs, goals, memories).
Unlike a biography (which is written by someone else about a person’s life), an autobiography is written in the first person (“I,” “my,” “me”) because the author is telling their own story.
